Hi, Flexers!
Just wanted to jump in here and let you all know I'm selling Avon again, but am doing it very differently this time, having learned from my mistakes last time around.
Last time, although I had intended to focus primarily on selling out of my Avon eStore, I drifted into trying to sell locally. This was a big mistake, mostly because 1) I am not allowed to leave brochures in my own apartment building (!); 2) I am not allowed to sell at work; and 3) my neighborhood consists mostly of businesses, and they don't allow soliciting.
Clearly, my Avon "seeds" fell among the thorns here. I gave it up entirely, but it bothered me ever since that I didn't return to my main focus: Developing my online business.
So I came back, determined to make the Avon eStore work. I will be retiring in less than two years and moving back to Kentucky to be near my disabled son (his father, my ex, who also lived in Louisville, died two years ago, and Peter has been without family since). My goal is to have a nice customer base ordering consistently from my store by June 2017. "Online" means that I can move to Kentucky and not interrupt my Avon business.
Also, I am crocheting lovely things for babies and toddlers, as well as jewelry and, soon, things for the home.
AND, I'm making handcrafted soaps, mostly to go with crochet for the kitchen and bath.
Here is my Avon store link.

I do have an Etsy store for my crochet, but because it takes so much time to crochet enough "stock," I am busy making things to stock my store later, and in the meantime, making custom orders for friends and family. This is done through Facebook private messages, so please hit me up with a friend request to open up that channel.
Thanks, Deb and Claudia, for making it possible to announce my businesses.
